This wikia has just recently fallen off the radar of Staff. Resuming foolishness of this sort will NOT be helpful.

Much more useful is if you wish to hold a discussion and reach a consensus about BLOCKING him from Sky Does Minecraft Wiki. Personally I don't see the immediate need to do that, but if it is of strong enough concern and the community majority agrees, then I can do it.

Especially as I am very much here.

Tell you what… Go make that wikia and if it becomes more successful than Sky Does Minecraft Wiki as you predict it can, then we'll seriously consider a merger.

There is nothing wrong with a wikia being a social haven.

There is nothing wrong with a wikia having a tight and limited target audience. A wikia could be made for a neighborhood stickball team, and it is just as valid as any other on Wikia.

Wikias do not get closed for being "off-topic". Or even abandoned. Wikias do get closed, but not for that.

BTW, while on the topic, if someone would like to make me a 'crat and Admin of the other (red) SDM wiki, I can keep that tidied up too.

There *is* an SDM Fanon wiki, it just needs to be utilized.

Or I can see about having a Namespace Fanon: made here as well.

The first step, tho, is the Question Here Asked: What do you wish to purpose for *this* wiki.

Tal and everyone, obviously you know Hedge has her Up and Down periods. If y'all are True Friends, you learn when and how to deal or at least ignore the downs.

If necessary give her a block of 12-24 hours. Sure she can unblock, but I've found that if you don't challenge her on it, she accepts it same as spritzing a misbehaving cat with water and goes off to rest.

Basically. Since the Source for the wiki uses such language, you cannot fault members for using them. *However*, the Wikia Terms of Service clearly state we cannot mistreat each other. So do not use the language against others.

I would say if it is not worse than the SDM videos, not much.

However, what should be cracked down upon are personal attacks. When swearing is focused on individuals, that starts to veer into harassing and intimidating behavior.

Remember: Language no worse than in SDM videos, nor TOU violations.

My prefered analogy is that each wiki is a country with Wikia the United Nations. Each country has its own laws and rules, which can differ even among neighboring ones.

It takes some serious sheet to get the UN involved. Even once they are, they try to be as minimally invasive as each situation calls for.

Admins are like rulers of the countries, with each their own style. Some are benevolent and democratic, some are dictators. The UN of course prefers to deal with the former, and will provide needed aide to the communities of the latter.

If you can grasp that, then understanding how and why Staff take the various actions and inactions that they do becomes comprehensible.
